Categories & Prize Money

This years competition will consist of 9 categories and an additional Peoples Choice Award. Multiple prizes will be awarded in the Colour and Black & White categories including  Open, High School & Primary School divisions. There is $5400 prize money in total across all categories and divisions and certificates awarded for Highly Commended entries.

To celebrate the competitions 20th year we have introduced a new category – 20 Years of Light and Light. This category is for photos that have been entered into the competition over last 20 years. And for the first time professional photographers can enter the Life and Light Photo Competition in the Professional Category.
