Description: This is the fish way at the top of the fish traps. The name of the fish trap in Aboriginal language is Ngunnuh. The fish traps were built 40,000 years or older on the bank of the Brewarrina Barwon River. Brewarrina means tall tree’s standing and also a meeting place for all Aboriginal tribes to meet when they went walk about. This photo was taken at the top of the fish traps to capture the curve, the flow of the water and cast shadows from the rocks.
