Description: James Poole, Capt Charles Stuart's 2nd in command is buried beneath this beefwood tree after falling ill. The grave is less than a kilometer from Depot Glen, where the exploration team spent about 6 months waiting for the drought to break. Depot Glen was their only source of water.
