Description: Rain in the outback often brings carpets of colour to the landscape. Some wildflowers are a welcome surprise, but others, such as Patterson's Curse are not welcomed by local pastoralists. Regardless of the fact that it is a noxious weed, you can't deny how spectacular it looks as you drive along outback roads lined in purple, with a backdrop of endless skies.
