Description: As the sun dips toward the horizon, it’s orangey pink rays shine directly through a carved opening in the sculpture, creating a fleeting alignment of light and form. The sculpture stands silent and still, yet the sunlight transforms it into a glowing portal, casing dramatic shadows. ‘Eclipse of stone’ captures the moment when stone and sun meet, a perfect balance of permanence and transience, where art and nature briefly converge.
