Description: A highlight of any trip to the outback is an encounter with some of the local wildlife. Even better, when you find the whole family out for an afternoon walk by the roadside. This chance meeting with Emu dad and his chicks was along the Wilcannia to White Cliffs road, and I was so glad that they were just as curious about me as I was about them.....making for a great photo opportunity. This is really what the outback is all about - a true journey of discovery.
